đź‘˝ Message An Alien

If intelligent aliens do exist, it’s not far-fetched to imagine them quietly monitoring our digital activity—tuning in to our internet, watching from afar, and analyzing our every move to make sure humanity doesn’t spiral into chaos. Some theorists even claim that extraterrestrials have already intervened in key moments of human history, including halting the launch of nuclear missiles.

This site will allow you to send a message far and wide out into the internet with the possible chance that an alien might read it. How it works is that the message you type is automatically packaged into hidden iframes that attempt to send your text as a POST request to a range of websites. The number of sites is configurable, and each one is selected by converting sequential numbers into base-36 domain names—essentially trying domains like https://10.com, https://11.com, https://12.com, and so on, up to the number you specify. Each iframe loads a small page containing a form that submits your message. The idea is that somewhere out there, a domain might be monitored, perhaps even by non-human intelligences, and your message might reach eyes (or sensors) that we can't yet comprehend.
